Pre-Ballet & Tap:
A special program in a fun atmosphere that introduces the
preschooler to the world of dance, combining the
fundamentals of ballet and tap. Children will develop
awareness for music and rhythm, as well as, listening skills.
Classical Ballet/Pointe:
Ballet is a beautiful form of dance and is the basis for all forms
of dance. It requires dedication and discipline on the part of
the student. It is an excellent way to tone and strengthen the
entire body. It helps to promote good posture and alignment.
Pointe work may begin at the age of twelve for the more
serious dancer.
Lyrical:
Lyrical is a form of dance that is performed to music to
demonstrate the meaning and lyrics of the music.
Jazz:
Jazz is a very popular form of dance. It is an expressive style
of dance that is done to popular music and is fun and
fast-paced.
Hip-hop:
Hip Hop is an up and coming favorite. Incorporating rhythm,
expression and attitude, this dance style is great for those
wanting to enjoy dance while learning some new moves.
Tap:
Tap is a form of dance that teaches rhythm, sound, and
coordination skills. It is recommended for all ages.
